Rosie,where have you been?!

I can't apologise enough for disappearing for so long! I've been on holiday, been sorting some stuff out in my life & started back at sixth form- just been so busy. I'm definitely going to try my hardest to post weekly, if not it'll be two weekly, I'll stick to this, I miss blogging :(

I've been thinking about what to post- and you can't go wrong with an everyday make up routine- can you?!

First I start off with clean hands (washed and antibacterial gel, don't want to spread dirt on my face- yuk!). Then I move onto a light moisturiser, otherwise my nose area gets really dry and my foundation doesn't blend properly :( The one I'm using at the moment is "Simple kind to skin hydrating, light moisturiser".
After this have sunk into my skin I then use "The bodyshop skin primer matte it", I really feel this soaks up the majority of my oily skin and I feel it prolongs my make up, I like starting my make up with a nicely primed face.

The next thing I use is foundation, and the one I use really depends on how my skin is feeling in the morning! If my skins having a good day, I'll use "Rimmel London - Wake me up foundation" in the shade "100 Ivory", this give a more dewy, "awake" face. However if I'm having a bad skin day I'll use "Mac Matchmaster Spf 15 foundation" in the shade "1.0", this gives me a more matte look- just depends what I'm feeling in the morning!

I use two concealers! The first I use in "Maybelline pure mineral concealer" in the shade "02- natural", I use this under my eyes, as I feel this concealer blends easier. Then I use "Benefit erase paste" in "No.1 fair" on any blemishes on my skin, or I may put this over the Maybelline concealer if I have really dark under eye circles!

My next step is powder. I use "Mac mineralize skinfish" in "Light plus", this gives me a really nice finish to my foundation/ concealer routine. However if I feel really pale I'll add "Bourjois bronzing powder"- the "chocolate one", to add some warmth to my face.

I'll then use the blush from the "Sleek Face form contouring and blush palette" in the shade "light", this is such a pretty natural blush. It's a shame as my contour colour cracked :( I had to purchase another sleek product with just the highlighter and contour colour- really recommend!

I'll then move onto my eyes, I'll use my eyebrow kit "Fashionista eyebrow kit". I'll use the lighter shade, then slightly run the darker shade though my brows, I'll then use the vaseline like product to finish my brows off and keep them in place. Occasionally I'll use the lightest shade in this palette as my highlight shade. After this I'll use my "Bodyshop define & lengthen mascara" in "01" (black), this mascara isn't really anything special but it'll do for now!

If I'm rushing out the door I'll just use my "Bodyshop bornlippy lipbalm" in "Strawberry", it gives my lips moisture, a nice tint, and tastes lovely!  As for lipstick, I don't tend to use any particular shade I have, however its normally just a pale pinky shade- I may have to do a lipstick collection later on!

And that's it, my make up done! All the brushes I use are the "Real techniques" brushes, also really recommend these! I apologise again for not blogging for a while, I hope you understand.

Rosie x
